as per CHQ-BSNLEU-ND report, today Meeting was held between Joint Forum & minister of Communications Shri A.Raja. minister requested To JF.Leaders to accept IPO, CMD-BSNL Told that all the employees would be issued 500 shares each, if IPO is accepted, joint forum leaders categorically told the minister that ipo is not acceptable to Unions.

on 20 th Aug 2008 Nationwide general strike of all the cenrtal, PSU, CITU, Bank , LIC etc trade Unions are going to be observed ONE Day strike .Notice for the same is already served to concerned authorities,
In Rajkot all the central Govt. Employees under the banner of C.O.C.-Rajkot going to organished one Rally on 20 th at 11.00 a.m. will start from Jilla Panchayat Chowk & will move/pass from Jasani Bldg,(Income Tax Bldg-old)to Girnar cinema , Phulchhab chowk, Nutan Saurashtra press ,sadar, Head Post office, Jubilibaugh Telephone exchange, jawahar Road, to Civil Hospital chowk at about 13.00 hrs .all the Trade Union Leadres will address the Meeting, slogns, charter of Demands etc. organished , Nr, Dr, Babasaheb Ambedkar Statue.All com. are requeested to Join Rally with their Union Banners with all the members, employees.
