[19.03.2016]Hon'ble Minister of Communications says that he is prepared to sit and sell SIM cards for BSNL. Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Hon'ble Minister for Communications has stated that he is prepared to sit and sell SIM cards for BSNL, for the revival of BSNL. While praising the performance of BSNL, for giving 20 lakh connections per month, the Minister has stated that he is even prepared to sell SIM cards for the development of BSNLEU. We wish to state that the Minister need not sit and sell SIM cards for the revival BSNL. Instead, the Minister is required to consider the genuine demands of the Forum, placed before the government, with regards to the revival of BSNL. It is noteworthy that the government is not prepared to concede any demand of the Forum, for the revival of BSNL.
