BSNL IDA Rates from January 2016(01.01.2016) is going to touch new heights, which is a happy news to employees for New Year 2016. For calculation of Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) Rates, Consumer Price Index is an economic indicator followed for industrial workers for the specified months.
Government of India tracks the prices of thousands of consumer goods, which calculates purchasing power of industrial workers for that quarter and weighted the average of prices for that quarter, where these price index numbers increment will be monitored by Department of Labor Bureau very closely, because it may push the industrial workers in huge doll drums as they may drastically reduce the purchasing power.
Now, as per All India Consumer Price Index Numbers for Industrial Workers - CPI(IW) issued by Department of Labour Bureau, CPI has been increased by 2 points for September and 3 points for October 2015, and stands at 269, records an increase of 5 points as on November 2015.
If the price index numbers remains as static at 269, the raised index numbers of 5 points from previous numbers is to be taken for January 2016(01.01.2016) BSNL Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) rates calculation.
Based on this average of Consumer Price Index Numbers for Industrial Workers - CPI(IW), BSNL IDA rates of Employees may be increased above 4%, even if there is no change in November 2015 CPI Index Numbers. If these index numbers increased by another three points, then BSNL IDA will increase upto 5% from present IDA rates.
If CPI numbers decreased by 2 points from present index numbers of 269(October 2015), BSNL IDA rates of employees may surely gets increased above 3.5% from present rates of 107.9%, where you can see the expecting IDA rates of BSNL employees as below.
After getting November index numbers on 31.12.2015, Department of Public Enterprises will issue the orders for increased IDA rates from 01.01.2016, then after BSNL will issue the orders as a new years gift for employees and pensioner pay scales with increased BSNL IDA rates from January 2016.
