Meeting with Director HR on 08-06-2010
President Com. V.A.N. Namboodiri and General Secretary P. Abhimanyu
met Director (HR) Yesterday (08-06-2010) and discussed the following
issues: -
1. 78.2%IDA Merger
Leaders emphasised that 78.2% IDA merger should be done immediately and
absolutely there is no justification for delaying it. Director (HR) replied that the
30% fitment already given to the Non – Executives and Executives may have to
reviewed, in case 78.2% IDA merger is to be considered. Leaders told Director
(HR) that 30% fitment can not be reviewed and at the same time 78.2% IDA
merger should also be done immediately
2. JAO part II Exam.
Union has already been perusing the issue of granting of grace marks for the
JAO part II exam held is January 2010. The mater is again raised with Director
(HR). We advanced our arguments justifying granting of grace marks. However,
Director (HR) is not in favour of granting of grace marks. The issue will be again
raised in the forthcoming National Council Meeting.
