This is because the BSNL Management vide their letters
(i) No. 4-29/2003 SEA/BSNL dtd 12-10-2004 and (ii) Lr.No. 4-50/2004-SEA BSNL dtd 20-1-2005
had indicated that those who are sitting for JAO Part-I Screening Test would be given ONE LAST CHANCE to write the JAO Part-II Examination under Old Syllabus.
Now it will not be possible for BSNL to go back on the said assurance.
The Old JAO Part-II Syllabus is as under:

Paper-I Theory (Without Books) 2 hrs. 100 marks
Paer-II Practical (With Books) 2.5 hrs 100 Marks
Subject-II Telecom Accounts
Paper-III Theory (Without books) 2 hrs. 100 Marks
Paper-IV –Practical (With Books) 2.5.hrs 100 Marks
Subject-III Civil works Accounts Rules & procedure
PAPER-V (With books) 3 hrs. 150 Marks

TOTAL - 3 Subjects - (5 Papers) Maximum 550 Marks
