In order to tide over the acute shortage of manpower, they have further requested to lower the minimum qualifying marks in individual part and in aggregate so that adequate number of successful candidates are available to fill up the vacancies of TTA. in consideration of the above circumstances explained by the Circles, it has now been decided by the competent authority to allow relaxation of qualifying marks in both the individual part and aggregate in following manner: -

It may be noted that the marks secured in individual parts is qualifying in nature and does not determine the rank in the examination whereas rank/merit in the examination is determine b overall percentage of mark secured by a candidate in the aggregate.
In addition, a relaxation of 10% of marks in aggregate will be allowed to all the candidates who have appeared in DR TTA examination, 2008.In other words, the minimum qualifying marks in aggregate, after allowing relaxation would be 30% for OC, 23% for OBC/SC/ST. Further, relaxation of 2% will be given to physically handicapped candidates belonging to each category.
Successful Candidates qualifying through normal standards in aggregate will rank en-block senior to those qualifying through relaxed standards in the merit/waiting List. However, the provisions of the recruitment Rules will determine their inter-se-seniority in the cadre.
In case any circle/circles has already got sufficient number of candidates in their waiting list in accordance with this office letter No. 250-18/2006-Pers-III(Part-2) date 21.10.2008, they are not required to act upon the above instructions on relaxation.
